Service description:
CAMHS Live is an online service for young people (aged 13+) and parents or carers who need advice and information about the mental health services available in Northamptonshire. The webpage allows you to chat to a CAMHS advisor live (via the Internet). You don't need to make an appointment - simply visit the website Mon-Fri, 10am-4.30pm.

The advisor will talk with you online (without judgement) to understand your worries, questions or issues. They can help you find the right kind of help (and help you access it). If you need to be referred for further support, they can talk to you online or on the phone to make that happen.

All live chats at are secure with end-to-end encryption provided by a digital certificate and meet NHS Information Governance Standards. The advisors can chat confidentially with you if you are aged 13+, and you do not need to give them your name.
