The Children's Hearing Clinic offers a comprehensive service for children and young people (aged 0-18) with a possible or confirmed hearing impairment.
The team provide full diagnostic services, and work closely with the Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) department. If hearing aids are required, they will be provided and fitted directly in clinic.
The team work with children and their families, and also work with schools, teachers of the deaf, social care, and speech and language therapists (SALT) to ensure the effects of any hearing impairment are minimised.
A monthly clinic is held at Danetre Hospital (in Daventry).
