Service description:
The School OT is a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and Certified Sleep Practitioner.

Around 30% of children have sleep difficulties. This includes difficulties in settling with disruptive behaviour at bedtime, waking in the night and disturbing the sleep of other family members, and sharing a bed with parents. The School OT works with families in family centred way, to support the child's sleep needs. Using a behavioural approach to sleep, The School OT will investigate the child's sleep history through sleep diaries, parental / carer questionnaire and through telephone / Skype / Face-time or face to face consultation (within 30 miles of Peterborough) in the home. This information will inform a bespoke sleep programme to suit the child and family's individual needs. Various Sleep Packages available, see website for details.
