First for Wellbeing is a Community Interest Company (CIC) - a social enterprise set up specifically to serve the needs of the local community. On 1 Sept 2018, First for Wellbeing moved back into NCC to join the Public Health team. This transition has no direct impact on service delivery. Contact details for individuals and services will remain the same.
The three partners – Northamptonshire County Council, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Northampton – have a shared vision for improving the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of the people of Northamptonshire by offering an integrated health and wellbeing service.

• Outdoor learning

First for Wellbeing appointed membership organisation Northamptonshire Commsortia
to deliver its social wellbeing service. Commsortia members are all Northamptonshire not-for-profit organisations and are committed to tackling disadvantage and improving quality of life for some of the most disadvantaged members of our society. They are all separate social business entities, with their own management and accountability structures, and with their own unique ways of working.
