The CEA Card is a national card scheme developed for UK cinemas by the UK Cinema Association (UKCA).
The card enables a disabled cinema guest to receive a free ticket for someone to go with them when they visit a participating cinema.
Cards cost £6 and last for 12 months.
Cardholders must be over the age of 8 years, and must be claiming one of the following:
• Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
• Attendance Allowance (AA)
• Blind Persons Registration
• Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
Visit the CEA website to apply for a card.
*The CEA Card is just one of the ways cinemas can ensure they look after their disabled guests. Remember, if you require an adjustment to visit a cinema because of your disability, cinema staff should make them for you whether you have a CEA Card or not.
