Designability - Wizzybug Wheelchair Loan Scheme

Service description:
Wizzybug is a fun and innovative powered wheelchair designed specifically for children under five.

The Wizzybug addresses the needs of children with conditions such as cerebral palsy, spinal muscular atrophy, spina bifida and muscular dystrophy.

Designability fundraise to make Wizzybugs available, free of charge, to children in mainland UK who could benefit from them.

Through the scheme, a child can have a Wizzybug for as long as they can benefit (usually until they outgrow it) and when they have completed their loan, they return their Wizzybug and it is refurbished it for another child.

Please note that families can contact WIzzybugs directly but they will need the support of a local therapist before they will proceed with the loan.
