Carers UK makes life better for carers. Looking after someone can be tough, but you’re not on your own. Carers UK have been around for 50 years, driven by carers raising their voices together to call for change and seek recognition and support.

They offer expert advice, information, and support that is tailored to your situation, through their adviceline and website.
Carers UK connect carers so no one need care alone, through online community and network of members and volunteers.

Carers UK are at the forefront of the carers' movement, bringing carers together to campaign for lasting change. They find innovative ways to help you manage at home, work, or wherever you are.

Carers UK is the only national membership charity for carers, and they believe that no one should have to care alone.

Carers UK advice line

The Carers UK Adviceline provides expert information and advice to people looking after a loved one. Open five days a week and covering the whole of the UK, get in touch for advice on benefits and tax credits, carers’ employment rights, assessments, services and how to challenge decisions.

Carers UK is the national membership charity for the millions of people who look after older, ill or disabled family and friends in the UK.

At some point in our lives, we’re all going to care or need care ourselves. It can happen suddenly – a birth, an illness, an accident – or it can start slowly, as our loved ones grow older and live longer with disability.

However it caring affects you, Carers UK is there with support, information and advice, campaigning for lasting change and innovating to find new ways to make life better.
