Moulton College offers a range post-16 and university-level qualifications and study programmes; including vocational subjects, as well as specialist study programmes for learners with learning difficulties and disabilities (from Entry Level), and a Supported Internship scheme for learners with an Education, Health and Care plan.
The college's supported learning department offers additional learning support to help students with special educational needs access other courses for which they're eligible.
This includes but is not limited to support for students with:
- Hearing impairment / deaf
- Visual impairment / blind
- Autism / autistic spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Specific learning difficulties (e.g. Dyslexia)
- Physical disabilities
SEN Support During Your Studies
If you have special educational needs (SEN) and think you may require transport to and from college, contact the college directly for the college's transport information. This college operates its own student buses.
Any eligibility for transport for those with special educational needs will be in accordance with Northamptonshire County Council’s Post¬ 16 Travel Policy.
Summer and Easter School
Moulton College's Summer and Easter Schools take place over the school holidays and is for those aged 14+ with additional needs. The young person does not have to be on roll at the college to attend, and the scheme costs £25 per day.
There is an opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of activities such as small animal handling, feeding the animals, sporting and recreational activities, working with the horses, art and design, cooking, farming and conservation activities.
