This is a primary academy.

They have a Resourced Provision "Nurture Unit" providing education, support and facilities for 10 children in Key Stage 1. The provision caters for pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs. Pupils selected for the Nurture Unit will not have a Statement or EHC Plan but may be moving towards one. All staff members and schools considering access to Woodnewton Nurture Group, must make a request to the Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Primary Panel.
