Learning for Wellbeing

Wellbeing is defined  as “the state of being comfortable, healthy or happy”. It’s what that means to you as an individual that’s important.  All courses that are delivered by the Learning for Wellbeing team are designed to have wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.

Courses are offered free of charge under two areas – Learn2b and Here4U. We support people to engage with learning in safe, welcoming surroundings, which offers a sense of fulfilment, belonging, sharing and achievement.  Read more to find a course that suits you, or someone you know.

Learn2b

Just like physical health we all have mental health. For some of us though, there are times in our lives when things get ‘too much’ and we can lose the ability to focus due to feeling anxious or stressed. We may also experience feelings of isolation, guilt, irritability, panic and a general lack of interest in things we used to enjoy.

Learn2b offers a variety of courses to encourage self-help and build (or re-build) confidence which can help recovery from times of poor mental health. Learn2b offers the opportunity to have some vital ‘me time’ away from everyday life, particularly when things are getting on top of us.

Our tutors have been selected specifically because of their own experiences of mental ill health, they are qualified in their subject matter and passionate about the principles of Learn2b.
