​Pay for school travel assistance

 

Before paying for school travel assistance, you will need to have made an application and received confirmation from the school transport team that you are eligible.

Pay a monthly invoice

You can pay an invoice for school travel assistance on our pay invoices page.

Pay full balance

If you chose to 'pay full balance online' as the preferred payment method within the initial application, the school transport team will have sent you an email containing a link to the payment form.

Need the email?

If you no longer have the email or didn't receive it, let us know by emailing schooltransport@kierwsp.co.uk (quoting the reference number from your initial application) and we will resend it to you.

Cancellations and refunds

If you have applied before the deadline in May for a guaranteed seat, no refunds will be given for cancellations. Where an individual has entered into a direct debit arrangement, any outstanding payments will still need to be made.

Applications submitted after the deadline (third Friday in May) must be cancelled before the last weekend in August to qualify for a refund.

Transport applications cancelled less than 10 working days before the start of the academic term will not qualify for a refund of the deposit.

If we have already dispatched a bus pass, you will be liable for any costs until the bus pass is returned to the Post 16 Travel Scheme office, at the postal address below, along with a covering letter.

How to cancel your application

Transport applications that are cancelled after the start of the academic term will not qualify for a refund of the deposit.

If your child has a guaranteed seat, no refunds will be made for cancellations. Where an individual has entered into a direct debit arrangement, any outstanding payments will still need to be made.

If the student no longer requires school transport, and is in possession of a bus pass, you must return the bus pass and notify us in writing of the reason for cancellation and the last date of travel to the following address:

For all other transport, please email transportapplications@kierwsp.co.uk specifying the reason for the cancellation and the last date of transport required.

If the student's application gets declined because they're not eligible for school transport, you will be given the option to pay for non-entitled school transport or request a refund of your deposit.

If you decide to pay for non-entitled school transport, your deposit won't be refunded.

Replacement pass

Should the student lose or damage their travel pass, there is a replacement charge of £25 (subject to change by Stagecoach).

You can expect to receive your replacement pass within seven working days of applying.
