Government procurement card transactions

As part of our commitment to being an open and transparency authority we are publishing our financial transaction data, part of this includes the purchases made on all Government Procurement Cards (GPC) which the council holds.

A GPC is essentially a company credit card issued by the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) on behalf of LGSS that eligible council staff can apply for. It can be used to pay for goods and services where suppliers accept MasterCard. GPCs are an alternative method of payment for low value, one off payments, goods or services that need to be purchased quickly and other one off expenditure. 

Information on transactions made using council GPC cards will be published on a quarterly basis and held on this page for a period of two years, if you require older than on this page then please make a Freedom of Information request.

There is some data quality issues with the GPC files from 2015 to 2016 onwards, these have therefore been taken offline. A replacement file will be published in due course.
