More than 100 pumpkins were taken to Burton Latimer Fire Station to help light up the drill tower during an annual Halloween event.
Visitors were invited to bring along their scariest carved pumpkins which were then lit and put on display in the tower.
People enjoyed a host of other entertainments on the night (November 1), including a raffle, stalls, refreshments and face painting. Lifesaving skills demonstrations such as CPR were also staged during the event.
All leftover pumpkins were then donated to the charity Animals In Need, based in Little Irchester.
Firefighter Andy Sturgess said: “It was a great evening and really well attended, it was well supported by the people of Burton Latimer.
“Altogether we raised just under £500 for The Fire Fighters Charity.”
