Bank holiday opening times
Northampton Sixfields Household Waste Recycling Centre is open on bank holidays, except where these fall on the centre's closed days (Mondays and Thursdays).
The site will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years day, and will close at 2pm on Christmas Eve (depending on which day Christmas Eve falls on).
Avoid the queues
Here's a few tips to make your journey as quick and easy as possible:
- try to avoid school and bank holidays
- pre-sort your waste to save time when you get here
- there is normally an early morning rush, come later if you can
