A new weekly job club will have its first session at Kettering library this week (Friday 20th April).
The county council is working in partnership with Evolve Your Future to help support local people back to work during these difficult economic times, by delivering job support and training in libraries.
The job club is chance for people to talk to an advisor about, finding a job, careers advice, how to write a CV and general support with skills, training and employment.
Councillor Heather Smith, cabinet member for customers services said: “As a county council we are working to find ways to support people during these difficult financial times and libraries have a vital role to play in this. The new weekly job club in Kettering is great opportunity to get advice to help you find work, why not drop in and talk to one of the advisors.”
The Kettering Library job club will take place on Fridays from 10am to 1pm, starting from 20th April.
Career advice appointments will also be available in the library at other times.
