Northamptonshire County Council's Corby Library will be hosting a project which will see young people offer support to older people to help them keep in touch with modern technology.
Young people from Youth Works CIC will be at Corby Library offering informal sessions aimed at older people, with no or limited ability, to use the internet, email or mobile phones.
The programme is designed to help people keep up to date with technology and help them to keep in touch with family and friends, as well as use the internet to shop or access services using their mobile phone or computer.
The sessions are free of charge and will begin 27th September on a Thursday, fortnightly for six sessions from 11am to 12:30pm.
Corby Library previously delivered this programme with young people from Youth Works and received a very positive response.
