The show must go on, whatever the weather - that's the message about three outdoor theatre performances taking place in Northamptonshire County Council's country parks this summer.

Tickets are still available for the performances which will see Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing and E. Nesbit’s The Railway Children performed by Heartbreak Productions at three of the county’s popular country parks.

The first production takes place this Friday (22nd June) with Much Ado About Nothing at Brixworth Country Park.

Cabinet member for customer services Councillor Heather Smith said: "Please don’t let the unsettled weather get in the way of you enjoying these unique performances in the beautiful surroundings of the country parks. Whatever the weather the plays will go ahead as long as it's safe for the actors to perform.”

Tickets cost £12, £8 concessions. To book visit www.heartbreakproductions.co.uk
