Budding entrepreneurs are invited to a business start-up event this Friday (14th June).
Northamptonshire County Council and Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership (NEP) have teamed up to offer this free event for anyone thinking about starting a business, or anyone who has started a business within the last year.
Information available at the event
Information will be available from banks, solicitors and a range of local business support organisations. The event will also provide an opportunity to meet with like-minded business people in the area.
The event will also offer a range of information resources and signposting to a series of free workshops, including business planning and social media training.
Councillor Heather Smith, county council deputy leader and cabinet member for customers and communities said: “The business start-up events are part of a range of events and activities offered by libraries to equip people with the skills and confidence they need to develop their business idea from concept to market, plus libraries also offer access to a wealth of advice and information to help fledgling businesses in the early stages.”
Colin Lewis, Business Support Manager at NEP said: “Starting a business can be a scary and lonely thing, but you are not alone. This event will showcase the range of support available in Northamptonshire, including our own programme of workshops and one to one support. We can help you grow your business.”
When is the event taking place?
The event will take place from 10am to 1pm on Friday 14th June at the Central Library in Northampton.
