Northamptonshire County Council is inviting care and support service providers to register for its new online marketplace.

A one-stop-shop for care and support services, breeze-e enables people in Northamptonshire to spend their personal care budget on everything from healthcare equipment and physiotherapy to home repair and gardening services.

The e-marketplace is also open to businesses offering domiciliary care, private hire transport, mobility scooters, respite care, day care and complementary therapies.

Independent living

The county council is launching breeze-e to make it easier for people to access high-quality care and support while maintaining their independence.

Cllr Suresh Patel, county council cabinet member for adult care services, said: “We are currently recruiting a wide range of service providers, who will benefit from the opportunity to attract new customers and take advantage of a market already worth £400m in the county which is expected to grow 10% by 2020.

“The breeze-e website enables providers to receive direct bookings and payments online, they can market and promote their services through the e-marketplace and it’s free to join.

“Anyone who would like to find out more can come along to one of our roadshows later this month where they can speak to members of the breeze-e team.”
