Northamptonshire County Council is seeking volunteers to serve on the independent appeal panels for schools across the county.

While the majority of parents are offered their preferred school, it’s not always possible to offer parents the school they hoped for. In those situations, parents can put their case to an independent panel to appeal against the decision.

Being a panel member could be a very rewarding experience for anyone interested in education and who has free time to attend appeals and training between 9am and 5pm during school days. Specific experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.
