Stand Out Northamptonshire is a fantastic aspiring charity that supports children in care and care leavers across the county.
We have ambitious plans and need people like you to get involved with volunteering with us to help make a real difference to the children and young people we support.
We help children in care and care leavers to learn, grow and progress by working with them, and giving them the opportunities they deserve to reach their full potential. These are as unique as the children and young people themselves and include cultural, sporting, recreational, leisure activities, educational support and other positive experiences to enhance their lives.
We can’t do this without the help of people like you. Could you spare some time and become a volunteer with Stand Out Northamptonshire? Becoming a volunteer with us means you will be part of our amazing network of people – we know you’ll fit in perfectly!
In return for your time you will:
- Have access to high quality induction and training
- Be provided with on-going support
- Be kept well informed
- Have opportunities to engage with other volunteers
- Know that you are making a positive difference for children in care and care leavers
Volunteering roles at Stand Out Northamptonshire are varied and fun! We are currently looking for people who can get involved with fundraising activities and help raise awareness of the charity and its wonderful work with children in care and care leavers.
Our volunteers love what they do, and in doing so gain huge benefits for themselves. You will have the opportunity to:
- Develop your skills and learn something new
- Meet new people and have fun
- Support your local community and inspire others
- Contribute towards your personal development
If you would like to know more about the volunteering opportunities available with us, we would love to hear from you! The team will be out and about during November at some of the county’s libraries.
